Starlift managing director Oliver Kark, said: “Motorists who obtained a driver's license before 1998 are able to rent and drive vehicles up to 7.49 tonnes. The T330.1 replaces previous 30 to 35 metre machines that were built on heavy 18 tonne chassis that had to be rented with operators. With our new T330.1 we can rent it out without driver, minimising the rental costs for our customers as well as personnel expenses.”

Established in 1984 by ex-crane man Hans Dieter Kark, the company now operates from three locations in northern Germany - Hamburg, Rostock and Berlin - with a rental fleet of more than 750 aerial work platforms and telehandlers.
