Five big PBs for Rami

Ramirent Finland has taken delivery of five 83ft platform height PB S270-24E 4x4-D heavy duty scissor lifts

The new machines are diesel powered with four wheel drive and a substantial 7.98 by 2.4 metre deck - with the single massive deck extension extended. The platform capacity is a very healthy 1,000kg, with a working height of 27 metres, at which it can still be driven.

The new lifts use seven scissor stacks to reach full height and weigh almost 25 tonnes. The stowed machine is just under six metres long, by 2.48 metres wide and 3.37 metres overall height with the guardrails folded. In spite of their size they are still very manoeuvrable thanks to a steering crank angle of almost 90 degrees, and 30 percent gradeability.

The new platforms were handed over to Ramirent product manager Jussi Muhonen, by PB Liftechnik’s export manager Arne Dirckinck-Holmfeld.
