Maxim Crane adds to sales team

US based Maxim Crane has appointed Allen Wenturine as industrial account manager in the North East region.

Wenterine joins the company following nine years with Barnhart Crane & Rigging, most recently as regional business manager covering locations in Philadelphia, Hartford, and Syracuse, with responsibility for developing project services in nuclear and fossil power generation, refining, metals industries, and strategic engineering contractors.

Allen Wenturine

Prior to that he spent seven years with P&H/Morris material handling as operations and service manager, having started out with Tippins and then Reading Crane & Engineering in technical sales roles.

John Werner, Maxim’s vice president of sales, said: “Allen brings tremendous experience, expertise and professionalism to our team which will provide our clients with innovative and technical solutions for the heavy lift, petro-chemical and industrial accounts in the region."

Regional vice president Larry Lis added: “He adds another dimension to the organisation and especially the North East region with a background that includes a degree in engineering from Penn State University with over 20 years of experience in specialised construction projects and material handling equipment applications. His experience in modular fabrication and alternative construction techniques will bring added value and services to our industrial clients all along the East Coast.”
