Ruthmann appoints innovation manager

German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann has appointed Markus Jöhren as its innovation manager.

Work platform and control technology specialist, Jöhren will help develop and enhance new technology and creative design which is both practical and easy to operate as well as innovations that ‘intrigue the customer’. He joins from Wumag/Palfinger where he has spent the last 22 years as its innovations manager.

Jöhren said: “First and foremost it is imperative that new innovations correspond with the wants and needs of the customer. Innovative solutions must also remain affordable. One of my tasks therefore is to match innovative new ideas with actual customer wishes and requirements. Ruthmann has already presented so many innovations. My goal is to analyze the customer benefits they provide and build on the strengths.
