New CFO for Iron Planet
Online auction house Iron Planet has appointed Debbie Schleicher as its new chief financial officer. She will be responsible for its finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, compliance, planning and analysis, treasury and tax.
Schleicher joins the company after a seven and a half year stint with accountant Grant Thornton, where she was national partner responsible for its tax, finance optimisation and global compliance and reporting practices.
Before that she was a partner at SC&H group for a year, following a couple of years as a managing director with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She started her career at Arthur Andersen where she worked for 15 years as a partner in corporate tax with a focus on corporate transactions, financial reporting for income tax, and business process outsourcing.
