The special economy zone township of Estancia IT SEZ in Chennai, India, has taken delivery of a 42 metre Falcon FS420 spider lift

The wheeled FS420 offers a maximum outreach of 17 metres and a 200kg platform capacity. Weighing close to 7,500kg, it has an overall length of 8.25 metres and a width of 900mm. The spider lift will be used to carry out cleaning and maintenance work on the township’s Signature Tower.

TCA Lift sales manager Brian Falck Schmidt, said: “The Falcon will be used for daily maintenance of the Signature Tower building both inside and outside. Our wheel mounted Falcons have become known in India due to this unique Spider features, offering low weight, low ground pressure, dual power system, and the unmatched jib performances.”

Estancia IT SEZ in Chennai has taken delivery of a Falcon FS420 spider lift

Spread over 80 acres, Estancoa IT SEZ (Special Economy Zone) provides a totally integrated township where up to 50,000 IT professionals work and live – the first project of its kind in Chennai. Due to being a part of a special economy zone, all Information Technology related companies which locate there will be exempt from sales tax, excise duty, stamp duty and registration charges, service tax.
