Magna adds to German network

Magna Tyres group and German tyre wholesaler Reifen Lorenz have formed a strategic partnership to handle the Magna tyre range in Germany.

Based just outside of Nuremburg, Reifen Lorenz will be part of the company’s service network responsible for the sales and marketing of Magna tyres. It will also be responsible for its new MTP range of tyres, which offer various tread patterns designed for construction and mining applications.

Founded in 1921, Reifen Lorenz is one of the largest owner-operated tyre dealers in Germany, with 23 branches throughout Bavaria, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia and two retreading plants in Feuchtwangen and Meineweh. In addition to providing tyres, it also offers a wide range of automotive services, including tyre rims, car repairs and services, and fleet management systems.

Magna, which now offers a range of tyres suited to the crane, telehandler and access markets, has plans to step up its coverage all over Europe, and this is the second appointment in Germany so far this year - see: Magna expands German network.
