Ramirent signs lift deal with Statoil

Ramirent has signed a national agreement with Statoil in Norway for the supply aerial lifts to Statoil's onshore and offshore facilities in Norway.

The four year agreement includes an option for an extension of additional two years. The value of the agreement has not been disclosed.

The agreement expands Ramirent’s existing offering to the oil & gas industry temporary space office and accommodation cabins.

The aerial lifts will be used for modification and maintenance work at Statoil facilities, especially for whole refinery/plant is shut-down projects which typically last eight to 10 weeks.

In April Ramirent opened a new customer centre at Coast Centre Base in Sotra to improve its coverage for suppliers and subcontractors working on offshore rig and service projects. The Sotra centre specialises on developing customised solutions for service companies supplying the oil industry.
