New S.Africa dealer for Haulotte

Haulotte has appointed Cape Town based Amandla Access as its new distributor for Southern Africa. Amandla, a new access and telehandler specialist, took over the sales and service of Haulotte equipment last month.

It made its first sale - a Star 10 – a couple of weeks ago. The company already has a number of new machines in stock, including compact scissor lifts and a telehandler. In addition to its offices in Cape town the new operation has a storage and repair facility in Bloemfontein.

The company is made up of chief executive Mark Smith, operations manager Gavin Bothwell – previously the owner of Southern Access, sales manager Ben Lubbe- previously with All Access, service engineer Kenny Phiri who has 13 years technical experience in the access market, and Edith Bartholomew, administration.

The company will represent Haulotte in all 15 countries of the South African Development Community (SADC) - Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique,Namibia, the Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Stéphane Hubert, Haulotte managing director - Europe and Africa said: “With dedicated Haulotte engineering support plus a prominent and established trading base, Amandla Access can only improve the customer experience in South Africa and the South African Development Community”
