First 35m Magni delivered

Dutch rental company T.C. Gortenmulder has taken delivery of the first five tonne/35 metre 360 degree Magni RTH 5.35 telehandler from local dealer VGM Tilburg.

The new telehander, which is dimensionally similar to the 30 metre RTH 5.30, features a six section sequenced boom and offers a maximum horizontal reach of 26.15 metres. Lifting capacity at full height is 2.2 tonnes.

Gortenmulder co-owner, Arjan Gortenmulder said: “Thanks to a lifting height of nearly 35 metres and a reach of over 26 metres, this telehandler is a real asset within our diverse rental fleet. The Magni telehandlers are often used in situations where height is important, such as the movement of building materials as well as construction and renovation works. With a lifting capacity of five tonnes this is no problem.”

As a telehandler operator himself, Gortenmulder added: “The integration of the functions in the touch-screen reduces switches, so the machine is less susceptible to interference. If something unexpected occurs the problem can easily be found because all the prime components are connected to the screen.”
