Another truck-mount hit
A man was injured yesterday in Jackson township, Pennsylvania when the work platform he was working from was struck by a passing concrete mixer.
The truck mounted lift/ boom truck - an Elliot telescopic - was set up on the side of Route 19, with two men in the platform working on an overhead sign. The impact injured one of the two men, while the other was unhurt. They were able to bring the platform down and the man was taken to hospital. We have no news on his condition at this time.
The local police are investigating the incident.
