Solid quarter for Alimak

Swedish based hoist and mastclimber specialist Alimak has issued an interim statement for the half year - its first as a public company – with revenues rising faster than profits

Only a few numbers and details have been made available prior to its conference call later today, but total revenue for the six months increased 27 percent to SK1.01 billion ($118.8 million) with order intake rising 30 percent. Net profits after tax were flat though at SK27 million ($3.2 million).

In the second quarter revenues improved 22 percent to SK552 million ($64.7 million) with net profits up 10 percent to SK22 million ($2.6 million). Order intake jumped 35 percent to SK663 million ($77.7 million).
