72m Ruthmann for Clerkin

Northern Irish access rental company Clerkin Elevation has taken delivery of a 72 metre Ruthmann T 720 truck mounted lift and ordered a further two models.

The T 720 features a five section main boom with a three section top boom and articulated jib. Maximum platform capacity is 600kg, while it can achieve an outreach of 38 metres with a reduced platform capacity of 100kg, with an up and over reach of 40 metres. The company said excellent results and customer satisfaction with the company’s existing T 540 and T 330 truck mounts contributed to the decision to purchase the machine.

Clerkin has also placed an order for a 48 metre T480 and a 28.5 metre TU 285 truck mounted lifts, both scheduled for delivery at the beginning of 2016. Mounted on a two axle 7.49 tonne chassis, the recently launched TU 285 has up to 20.5 metres of outreach and a 320kg maximum platform capacity. With an overall length of 6.87 metres, a height of 3.71 metres and a wheelbase of 3.6 metres, the TU285 is well suited for inner city applications.
