Bobcat dealer acquired

Finnish rental company RealMachinery has acquired Dae-Tek, the Doosan and Bobcat distributor for Finland.

RealMachinery is a division of the UM Group and claims to be the largest earthmoving equipment rental company in Finland, plans to retain the Dae-Tek brand for the sales activities. Its rental arm will be merged with RealMachinery.
UM was established in 1995 as Nokia Transport and Excavation Services and changed its name to UM in 2010. A year later it split its operations into three specialist companies Real Machinery for equipment rental etc… Suomen Maa ja Kivi (Finland Soil and Stone) and construction company Lännen Laaturakennus

Dae-Tek was founded in 1990 to import Daewoo excavators, which then became Doosan, it added Bobcat in 2011 along with Ahlmann wheel loaders. The company is based in Kerava near Helsinki, with branches in Tampere, Turku, Kuopio and Oulu. The las results that we have seen show revenues for the business in excess of €30 million.
