Quick Reach adds to fleet

UK access and telehandler rental company Quick Reach has taken delivery of four new MEC scissor lifts as well as a number of Genie boom and mast lifts from UK distributor APS.

The MEC order consists of four 60ft 6092RT Ultra-Deck Rough Terrain scissor lifts, which provide a 20.5 metre working height along with a 7.5 metre platform length, with the dual decks extended – and a 600kg platform capacity. Weighing 9,200kg and measuring 2.34 metres wide it is possible to fit two units onto a single flatbed trailer.

Quick Reach director David Barton, said: “We pride ourselves on offering innovative solutions and the MEC 6092RT is a machine in a class of its own. This extends our scissor lift offering beyond the 15 metre platform heights available from other manufacturers and has proved very popular with our customers - who particularly love the deck size. It gives them a huge working area which enhances productivity - especially when you have several guys and their equipment in the platform.”
