Couldn’t chair less!

A reader visiting Mexico recently has sent a Death Wish picture of a resort employee erecting a volleyball net on a beach and asked the question – what do you do if you want to work at height on a beach?

In the words of our correspondent: “We’ve all seen bamboo, bad towers, men in buckets etc... But what do you do on a beach if you want to work at height? Perhaps use a ladder? No, get a sunbed, turn it on its end and use the cross bars! How about if the beach has a slope? Well still use it but reach over with a risk of pushing it out from under your feet.”

By no means coming close to the worst Death Wish example we have ever seen, given that she is only a metre off the ground and above soft sand, it is however, clearly an accident waiting to happen – regardless of the level of ingenuity behind it!
