TVH acquires Rentalclamp

TVH has acquired Rentaclamp (Coventry) Ltd a UK-based company that offers new and refurbished attachments for fork lift trucks

The move is aimed at expanding the company’s shareof the attachments market in the UK and Ireland. Rentaclamp was founded in July 1976 and has an strong reputation for the sales, rental, service & repair of all types of attachments for forklifts. The company is also a long standing distributor for CAM System. The share purchase deal has already completed.

The plan is to integrate Rentalclamp into TVH, but the two companies will continue to operate independently while preparations are made for a full integration into TVH UK. The two companies already have a working relationship which is expected to help with a smooth integration. Martin Fletcher will join TVH and continue to manage the Rentaclamp business with responsibility for expanding TVH’s presence in the UK attachment market along with three key colleagues from Rentalclamp.

The company statement said: “Thanks to this acquisition we can now offer our customers in the UK and Ireland a true ‘One-stop Shop’ experience in attachments. Furthermore the integration will allow TVH UK to offer short- and long-term rental and after-sales services in addition to new and second-hand attachments”.
