Breaking news from Intermat

Intermat opens on Monday, most of the new products have already been previewed and covered in our publications However we have already spotted a couple of surprises.

The first surprise is from Manitou, focussing all of its pre show coverage on its new 30 metre telehandler and new range of electric articulating booms, the company was saving an all-new big scissor lift to surprise everyone at the show.

Surprise Surprise a new Big lift from Manitou the 15TP

The new model, designated the 150TP, uses a telescoping boom rather than a scissor stack, making it similar to a number of machines built in Japan by the likes of Tadano and Aichi.

The new model appears to offer a 13 metre platform height, a 6.5 metre long extended platform and 1,000 kg maximum lift capacity.

Another surprise was found on the Zoom Lion stand, this Chinese equipment manufacturer that had been dipping its toe in the European waters with its tower cranes, has turned up with a new 70 tonne truck crane.
