41m CTE for removal men
Italian removals company Grillo Antonino of Milan, has purchased a customised 41 metre CTE B-Lift 410 High Range.
The unit, mounted on a three axle Mercedes chassis, will be used to remove or deliver bulky furniture to or from the upper floors of large buildings where the elevator or stairs prevent the more usual methods.
The unit has special sub frame, 360 degrees continuous slew, and a special reinforced platform with silid panel guardrails, equipped, with a large front sliding opening for material loading, a narrow side door for long loads and dual load sensing systems to ensure that the weight in the platform never exceeds the maximum 600kg capacity or the permitted capacity for the actual outreach.

The controls, are located completely outside of the basket in order to keep the clear space, and include a memory function that allows a lift and descend cycle to be saved in the system, so that it can be precisely replicated several times in succession, for example, when carrying repeat loads from the ground to a balcony.

Company owner Giovanni Grillo, said: “We have chosen CTE for their versatility in studying and manufacturing the platform, according to the demands and needs of our work. Moreover, we benefit of the round the clock customer care service”.
“We will use B-Lift 410 to move furniture especially to and from attics, dormers, terraces or in places where working with removal hoists is not possible due to obstacles and also in situations where the final working place is not perpendicular or parallel to the starting point. One of the features of our new platform is the possibility to programme a path to be repeated from position A to position B, very useful for us with all the repetitive movements. Then we have the self-stowing and self-opening of the machine, and the automatic outrigger set up. All these features make it easier and faster to use the machine, as in our daily work we often repeat the same tasks many times”.
