A glimpse of ARA

Here are just a few glimpses at some of the new products being launched at the ARA/Rental Show which opens later today in Atlanta.

Skyjack – has new telehandlers, the new 40ft compact slab electric scissor lift and a new 30ft industrial electric powered SJ30 ARJE articulated boom lift. But in addition to this it is rolling out its new Accessoryzers attachments and accessories. These range from special tyre options to pipe racks, tool trays, sheet and glass handling racks and cladding packs, to name but a few.

Genie is kicking off its 50th anniversary celebrations and will also announce an all new 62ft articulated boom lift, the Z62/37, based on the current Z62/40 it has a modified lift mechanism, four wheel direct electric drive with oscillating axle, and similar performance to the its diesel powered cousin. Niftylift will unveil a 40ft /14 metre heavy duty telescopic trailer lift the TM40, its first straight telescopic concept machine. Aimed initially at the US market it is looking for feedback.

Snorkel has production versions of its 66ft 660SJ telescopic boom lift and 40ft slab electric scissor lift. But it will also show its latest platform and a new direct electric version of its TM12, the TM12E. The electric drive machine is expected to go into production later this year, but the hydraulic drive version will remain available.

First time at the show for the Almac bibi tracked scissor lift with auto levelling on the Reachmaster stand

Reachmaster is launching the 19ft Almac Bibi 850BL, which it is marketing in the USA as the Bibi 26, while Custom Equipment is promoting its 1230 scissor lift as an alternative to 12ft mast type products.
