New Barin for Korea

South Korean toll road maintenance company Korea Expressway Corporation has taken delivery of a new Barin ABC 230/L under bridge inspection unit.

The Barin ABC 230/L under bridge inspection unit mounted on a four-axle Scania P410 LB

Mounted on a four-axle Scania P410 LB chassis, the bucket-type aerial work platform offers up to 23 metres of horizontal under bridge outreach and a maximum below ground reach of 8.4 metres. It has a 600 kg platform capacity and 180 degrees of platform rotation. The machine’s overall width of 2.5 metres means that it only takes up one traffic lane while working.

Founded in 1969, Korea Expressway constructs, operates and maintains South Korea’s Highway road network. It oversees the construction of new roads, tunnels, bridges and also offers traffic information services such as congested area management.
