The first S-65 from the plant has been delivered to UK rental company 1 Up Access, and is part of an order from the company for four units. The S-65 is also produced at Genie’s Redmond, USA, and Changzhou, East China plants.

European region vice president Joe George said: “A new product line involves a great deal of careful planning. It has taken our team in Italy about a year to select suppliers, and verify that our quality systems and pre-delivery processes are fully adapted to the new S-65 production line. Today, we have an extremely capable team in place and have every confidence in the quality of the units produced in Umbertide. We are secure in the fact that our European region customers will enjoy shorter lead times for the delivery of these high performance machines.”
