Aichi opens new USA office

Aichi Corp, the Japanese aerial lift manufacturer, has opened a North American headquarters in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Alan Dotts has been named as general manager of Aichi USA, with responsibility for the development of sales and support of all self-propelled and truck-mounted aerial equipment throughout the United States and Canada.

Aichi USA, or Aichi America as it was, was originally established, in 1997. Dotts began his access career with the company when he joined it in 1998 as product support manager. Four years later he moved to a similar role at Haulotte US, and was promoted to general manager the following year.
