Forklift company adds platforms

Dutch forklift rental company Makkina has purchased its first aerial work platforms, with an order for three Snorkel machines.

The order placed through local Snorkel dealer Omega, comprises a 19ft S3219E and 32ft S4732E electric slab scissor lifts - and a 38ft battery powered A38E articulated boom lift.

Based in Kapelle, near Rotterdam, Makkina is predominantly a local forklift rental company, owner Jos de Koster said: “We are pleased to have made our initial investment in aerial work platforms with Snorkel. The Snorkel brand has a reputation for simplicity and reliability, which is a great fit for our business and our plans to continue the growth of our rental fleet.”
