Lucky escape

A boom section slipped out of an articulated loader crane in the town of Meaux, France, yesterday landing on a man standing nearby. It is possible that the man, 49, was the crane operator, but we have few details at this stage.

What we do know is that it weighed over 100kg and that while he suffered a number of injuries, none of them are serious. We will update when we learn more.
