Fourth Liebherr for Certified

USA based rental company Certified Crane and Rigging Services has taken delivery of a new six axle 350 tonne Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 All Terrain crane.

The LTM 1350-6.1 features a 70 metre main boom, plus 78 metre luffing jib and 140 tonnes of counterweight. The new crane is the second LTM 1350-6.1 and the largest crane in the fleet. The other Liebherr’s include the 100 tonne five axle LTM 1100-5.2, and the 130 tonne five axle LTM 1130-5.1.

Certified's new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 on initial test and training before going to work

General manager Joe Lind said: “We purchased the Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 because it fit a spot in our new crane fleet that will allow us to maximise its 400 ton capacity, but also to be able to work as a crane down in size. Liebherr cranes are very versatile and have exceptional load charts in reduced counterweight configurations. Our management team decided on this crane based on our past experiences. All the manufacturers make great cranes, but we felt with the added technology in today’s cranes we had to have direct support from the manufacturer.”

Certified Crane and Rigging Services, was established in 2015 in Baytown, Texas and serves the commercial, industrial, and power markets in Houston, Baytown, and all along the Gulf Coast.
