IPS launches Tool Bin

UK based aerial lift parts specialist IPS has launched the ‘Tool Bin’ a three compartment tray for storing tools and hardware within the platform of an aerial lift.

The product is designed to fit onto the corner of the platform top rail, and makes it quick and easy to organise and store hand tools. It fits easily into place on almost any scissor, boom, or one man personnel lift, and can be attached with two locking bolts.

The reinforced polypropylene UV-protected plastic, makes it lightweight and durable. The bin’s three compartments have removable partitions, while a magnetic tray is provided for holding hardware and small parts in place. A brackets on the front is designed to allow tool belts to be attached when not in use.

The Tool Bin eliminates trip hazards from tools on the platform floor, while reducing back strain from constantly bending down to pick up or put down equipment.

IAPS operations director Kevin Shadbolt said: “The Tool Bin is a great way to organise your tools and parts, helping you to work safely and efficiently at height. It contains plenty of storage space for parts and hand tools, meaning no more tools littering the deck of the platform reducing the risk of a trip or items falling from the platform."
