Atlas loader grabs sales

Since its launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April, Terex Atlas' new 118.2VGL has attracted more than 70 orders from the civil engineering and utilities sectors.

four boom versions and three stabilising widths are available

Sales to date total 73 firm orders, including Bristol-based Gullivers Truck Hire which has placed an advance order for 40 units. Atlas is particularly pleased with the order from London-based J Murphy & Sons as it has not supplied Murphy with grab loaders for many years.

Terex Atlas' new 118.2VGL is proving popular

With a load capacity of 110 kNm and a reach of 6.6 – 8.6 metres, the new 118.2 VGL is initially being offered in four boom versions and three stabilising widths. In the H1-B4 stress group and enjoying a slew range of 410 degrees, its operating pressure is 250 bar and flow rate an impressive 100 l/min.
