Hiab and Combilift to co-operate

Hiab’s Truck-Mounted Forklift company Moffett Engineering Ltd., based in Dundalk, Ireland and Combilift Ltd, the fork lift company based in Clontibret, Ireland have entered into a license-based co-operation arrangement.

The agreement covers “know-how” and includes an agreement giving Moffett the right to manufacture and sell the new telescopic ‘Telemount’ truck-mounted forklift developed by Combilift.

The new product will be known as the Moffett Telemount and will be manufactured in Dundalk, Ireland. It will be launched on the market through Hiab’s Moffett distribution channels during autumn 2006.

The parties have also agreed on future Research & Development co-operation within the truck mounted forklift market. Hiab says that the agreement will strengthen its offering and know-how in truck-mounted forklifts.
