49 JLGs for Brand

Dutch rental and services company Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services has purchased 49 new JLG aerial work platforms from local distributor Riwal.

The order includes a selection of JLG articulated boom lifts, including the 45ft 450AJ and 80ft 800AJ, along with premium ES slab scissor lifts including the 2032ES as well as 3369LE battery powered Rough Terrain scissor lifts. This latest deal follows a further 40 JLG units delivered to Brand in June 2015. All units are equipped with GPS-enabled Track & Trace telematics systems with remote trouble shooting and usage feedback. The diesel models are also equipped with particulate filters.

Brand acquired Harsco Infrastructure in 2013, and inherited its SGB/Harsco powered access fleet in the Netherlands. It focuses on providing specialty services to the energy, industrial and infrastructure markets.

Riwal’s international key account manager Remon Scheper said: “We are very pleased with the continued trust that Brand has put in Riwal. Not only do we offer the latest JLG models to Brand, we also provide after-sales service and parts to ensure maximum equipment uptime.”

Brand Energy technical advisor Arie Offermans added: “Brand decided to make another investment in JLG aerial work platforms from Riwal because of the high quality equipment and excellent technical support.”
