Liebherr announce new cranes
Liebherr hosted a major open day at its Ehingen plant in Germany yesterday, attedned by around 1,400 visitors.

The major focus of the day was its latest big crawler crane, the 1,350 tonne LR11350 with 228 metre maximum tip height and relatively easy transportation capability with no single part being heavier than 45 tonnes or wider than 3.5 metres.

The New LR11350 picks up the 110 tonne LTR1100 with ease
This is a development of the planned 1,250 tonne LR1250 announced in November last year.

The LTR1100 dangles from the LR11350
The big crane lifted the 110 tonne LTR1100 to a considerable radius, while the 100th LR1400 to be built, was hooked up to a large boxing ring type platform which took 25 visitors at a time up to 115 metres.

New 130 tonne five axle AT
Liebherr also took the opportunity to announce a new five axle 130 tonne All Terrain crane with a 60 metre main boom, the LTM1300-5.1. The new five axle crane will have a compact carrier at 12.26 metres long and 2.75 metres wide and will carry up to nine tonnes of counterweight plus equipment within 12 tonne axle weights.
The bi fold swingaway will be the same as that on the LTM 1100-4.1 at 10.8 and 19 metres. With seven metre inserts.

The 100th LR1400 was sold to Brazilian company Locar so Hans-Georg Frey took the opportunity to present a symbolic key of the new crane to Julio Eduardo Simões, the president of Locar.
