New Danish dealer for Snorkel

Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel has appointed KH Lift as its official distributor for Denmark.

KH Lift is a brand new company that opened on July 1st, with premises in Vejle, the owner however is the former owner of KK Materiel Karsten Haahr, who moves back into equipment sales following three years running an equipment rental business.

KH Lift will provide sales, service and spare parts for the Danish market and handle warranty and service for the existing
UpRight/Snorkel fleet in Denmark, and will hold stocks of spare parts for older Snorkel and UpRight products. In addition to Haahr the company kicks off with a workshop manager and two field service technicians, with plans to expand this team to six by the end of the year. The company will also trade in used aerial work platforms.

Haahr began selling aerial lifts over 25 years ago, initially as access sales manager with UpRight and Instant distributor Treffco. After that business was sold to Ramirent in 2004, he started KK Materiel which took over the UpRight and Instant distribution, while Rami took Treffco’s rental business. The Snorkel business was then added and UpRight rebranded, He dropped the Instant scaffold business in 2010 and sold up in 2014.
