UPA expands operations

UK based rental company United Powered Access (UPA) has appointed two new staff members and expanded its fleet.

Thomas Hughes joins the company’s technical department as a LOLER engineer, he previously worked with Skyjack. At the same time Mykel Hodgson joins the business as sales account manager, he was previously employed in a similar role at HSS.

As to the rental fleet the company has added 40ft Skyjack SJIII 4740 slab electric scissor lifts and Pop-Up IQ10 low level scissor lifts, along with a number of Manitou Rough Terrain forklifts. It is also investing in upgrades and additions to its transport and delivery fleet.
