Co.Me.T expands

Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Comet has added two new managers to its sales and service team as part of an expansion programme.

Stephan Wijkmans has been appointed as area sales manager for the Benelux region along with Germany, Austria and the Asian market. He joins the company from Italian Terex distributor, used crane dealer and rental company Tecno Gru, where he has been export sales manager for the past two and half years. Prior to that he worked directly for Terex Cranes as sales manager Russia & CIS countries, having joined the company in 2009 from loader crane manufacturer KLM where he was sales and customer service manager for four years.
Before joining the crane and aerial lift market he spent over 12.5 years with critical sensor manufacturer Pepperl+Fuchs where he was responsible for sales in the Netherlands. He moved to boiler company Worgas in 1999 as a R&D product manager moving to KLM in 2005.

The second new appointment is Tobia Cariolato who joins the company as service manager, with responsibility for managing the service and customer support team, for both the Italian and overseas markets. He previously worked in a similar rolw with fellow Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Isoli.
