Speedy up 29%

Speedy Hire, one of the UK’s largest rental companies that specialises in tools and general equipment, lifting gear and generators has announced sales up 29 percent for the first half of its 2006/7 fiscal year which closes at the end of this week.

Like for like sales will be up by eight percent, the balance of the revenues growth comes from the LCH Generator acquisition and the opening of six new Greenfield locations.

Detailed interim results will be published in November.
