200t Grove to Italy
Italian rental company Farioli has taken delivery of a 200 tonne Grove GMK5200-1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle crane has a 64 metre main boom with an 18 to 34 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. It is the first Grove All Terrain crane in the company's fleet, and has recently helped construct a new hotel at Milan's Linate Airport.
Crane operator Domenico Minelli said: "The crane is performing very well. Despite the lack of space on site, the GMK5200-1 manoeuvres easily thanks to the all-wheel steering. We also need a lot of accuracy and control in the lifts, and with the Crane Control System I can adjust each function as needed. The fuel consumption is also much lower than expected."

Owner Stefano Farioli added: "We are really satisfied with the GMK5200-1. For our customers, keeping to schedule is paramount. It's good to be able to offer the latest technology in a high-performance crane that allows them to meet their targets."
Established in 1912 and headquartered in Novara, north west Italy, family run Farioli runs a fleet of All Terrain and mini crawler cranes, as well as aerial lifts and telehandlers.
