Crane Driver cited

Work has resumed at the construction site at 110 Third Ave., near 13th St. in New York, following the incident where a four tonne crane tower section fell 100 metres onto a passing taxi See Near Miss in the street below.
Citations have been issued for a number of violations by New York’s Buildings Department. Tishman Construction Corp., the company overseeing the building of the 21-story tower received two citations, as did Broadway Concrete, the firm renting in the crane; Ernesto Tersigni, the site safety coordinator for Broadway Concrete, and Bernie Stinchcomb, the crane operator.

The crane rental company, New York Crane, do not appear to have been cited at all at this stage.
