Manbat appoints specialist

Shrewsbury based Manbat has appointed Rhod Eaton to head up its special products division, focusing increasingly important markets such as Aerial lifts, renewable energy and marine and leisure.

Eaton has a wide experience in the supply of batteries to various markets, having previously worked for Deta batteries.

Commenting on his new job, Eaton said: “My role is to develop business for Manbat in new and emerging sectors. Manbat offers some excellent battery products, which we will be unveiling in the coming weeks and months, offering power and flexibility to our customers”.

Manbat is the sole UK dealer for US batteries, one of the top two suppliers of batteries to aerial lift producers. Manbat was recently appointed as the sole UK distributor for all of US battery’s products, including the new Xtreme Capacity brand, which features diamond plate technology, designed to provide longer battery life and enhanced recharge ability.

The company operated from nine locations around the country.
