First crane for Ashcourt Group

UK construction company Ashcourt Group has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, the company’s first crane.

The three axle crane features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. In the UK, the LTM 1060-3.1 can travel with all 12.8 tonnes of counterweight and a double fly jib and remain within STGO regulations.

The company’s first crane, a Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1

Business development manager Emily Summerson said: “We are very excited to launch our crane hire division. We feel that the standard of product manufactured by Liebherr is superior to their competitors in the market and we are very pleased with the LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane.”

Established in 2009, Ashcourt Group is based in Hull, northern England. It mainly works in the fields of construction, equipment rental – including telehandlers, property, civil engineering, quarrying, haulage and ready mixed concrete, but has now moving into crane rental.
