New location for Walter Payton

US crane distributor Walter Payton Power Equipment has moved to a new location in Lebanon, Indiana.

The new facility is located just south of the company’s original branch in Lebanon, on a four acre plot, with a 1,670 square metres of workshops that include a new paint booth large enough to handle All Terrain cranes up to eight axles. There are also two drive through bays, each of which is equipped with two 18 tonne overhead cranes. The company says the facility is capable of handling equipment ranging from small carry deck cranes to larger crawler cranes, and claims that it is the largest dedicated crane repair facility in Indiana and Kentucky.

The branch also has a larger parts and storage area, in order to stock a larger inventory of Manitowoc, Grove and National Crane parts. The offices house the parts, service and sales teams, along with a training room.

Regional manager Dick Feldman said: “This new state of the art facility expands our ability to better support our customers more effectively particularly in the Indiana and Kentucky areas.”

Walter Payton Power Equipment was founded by Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton, and operates from locations in Illinois and Michigan as well as Indiana. The company offers new and used equipment from Manitowoc, Grove, National Crane, Broderson, Manitex, PM, Xtreme and Manitou.
