Vp acquires Sandhurst
UK rental group Vp - owner of UK Forks, Higher Access, Hire Station and Brandon Hire - has acquired excavator attachment rental company Sandhurst, with the purchase of all outstanding shares in the company from owner and managing director Tim Dean for £3.32 million in cash, close to its asset value.
Sandhurst was founded in 2004 and operates from five locations across the UK, Bristol, London, Newcastle, Birmingham and Blairhall in Scotland. The company will work alongside Vp’s Piling division.
Chairman Jeremy Pilkington said: "The acquisition of Sandhurst adds another new product specialisation to Vp's UK portfolio and I am delighted to welcome the experienced Sandhurst team to the Vp group."
