Liebherr for County Lifting
UK rental and transport company County Lifting Services has taken delivery of a 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane.
The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 features a 35 metre main boom, and takes 7.4 tonnes to full height or 1.1 tonnes to a maximum radius of 31 metres. The crane has been equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system.
County Lifting is to loan the new crane to My Future My Choice for its two day event at Vertikal Days for local school pupils. Under the guidance of Liebherr Training, pupils will be able to test their crane operating skills in the hook-a-duck challenge.

County Lifting’s new LTM 1040-2.1
Project manager Daniel Drury said: “Our recent procurement focus has been to buy specialist cranes that allow us to work in more constricted sites. This allows us to offer better engineered solutions to our customer base. The LTM 1040-2.1 fits nicely into this niche with its compact dimensions and the VarioBase allowing the machine to work in tighter spaces inside and out whilst still achieving class leading duties.”
Established over 30 years ago, family run County Lifting is based in Kettering, England. Its fleet includes All Terrain cranes ranging from 20 to 130 tonnes, as well as spider cranes, pick & carry cranes and Niftylift spider and boom lifts.
