Liebherr for Active

US based Active Crane Rentals has ordered a 350 tonne Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 All Terrain crane.

The LTM 1350-6.1 features a 70 metre main boom, plus 78 metre luffing jib and 140 tonnes of counterweight. The crane will be delivered next month, and will be the largest in the company’s fleet. It will be used initially on a bridge project, and then water plant reconstruction and chemical plant maintenance jobs.

Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1

Company treasurer Hunter Schmeusser said: “Liebherr cranes are reliable, where no expense is spared in creating the most operator friendly machine. This crane will add value to our business through the ability to quickly and safely assemble the crane. Our new LTM 1350-6.1 is going to be the largest crane in our fleet, as we continue to grow and supply our surrounding communities with the best service available.”

Established in 1968, family owned Active Crane Rentals is based in Wilmington, Delaware. The company employs 25 and runs a fleet of 30 cranes.
