Haulotte UK opens new premises
Haulotte officially opened its new UK premises in Wolverhampton this week with a series of events culminating with an open day yesterday.

The warehouse - already well stocked
The events began on Tuesday with a worldwide Haulotte management team visit and the official ribbon cutting ceremony by chief executive Alexandre Saubot. This was followed on Wednesday with a dedicated Loxam/Nationwide Platforms day – all building up to yesterday’s general open day for customers from the UK and Ireland, with more than 40 guests attending. With the opportunity to view the impressive 3,500 square metre facility and check out the company’s latest new products with the full line of booms scissors, v mast booms and push-around lifts on display.

The main office
The new products included the 20ft Star 8S mast type Lift and compact 3,200 kg/seven metre HTL 3207 telehandler – the first to arrive in the UK, having been shipped especially for the open day. The new premises includes open plan offices, training and meeting rooms, a large warehouse, workshops and a large yard area. The plant tours culminated with demonstrations, an opportunity to try out the new products and, thanks to the weather an alfresco lunch.

UK general manager Natalie Reynolds said: “Today we successfully welcomed many of our customers to celebrate with us the grand opening of our brand new facility. This marks a new chapter for Haulotte in the UK and highlights the commitment and confidence that we have in the UK powered access market. The new facility will allow us to better serve our customers with increased stock holding and larger capacity workshop for all our customers servicing needs. The day has been very successful, and feedback has been very positive with the new facility very well received”.
