Indonesian equipment distributor Metron - which represents Haulotte - held a customer open day in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, last week, in partnership with its sister company Probesco Kanamoto, a joint venture between Indonesia’s Probesco and Japan’s Kanamoto.

The event, held at the company’s local branch – one of two in South Sumatra - highlighted Haulotte aerial work platforms and telehandlers was attended by more than 200 customers from a wide range of industries, including plantations, forestry and general construction, as well as a number of rental companies. The participants had the opportunity to see demonstrations of Haulotte’s 10 metre Star 10 mast boom, 53ft H18 SX Rough Terrain scissor lift and the new HTL 3207 3,200kg/seven metre compact telehandler.
Metron is based in North Jakarta, but operates nationally through 22 local branches, with a further nine locations planned. In addition to Haulotte it represents Yanmar mini excavators, Mat wheel loaders and Primach Asphalt mixing plants. Probesco Kanamoto is located alongside Metron and runs a fleet of mobile cranes, including Rough Terrain, All Terrain and truck cranes, Haulotte booms and scissor lifts, loader cranes as well as earthmoving equipment and forklifts.
