AWPT appoints Groat

Aerial Work Platform Training subsidiary of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has appointed Tony Groat as its North American membership development director.

Groat will be responsible for signing up new members and developing training centres and services for the North American members of IPAF.

Groat has been in the access and rental businesses since the mid 1970’s working with Albany Ladder where he was eventually president and when it became part of National Equipment Services in 2001, he became Eastern regional vice president for NES.
