New UK CMC dealer

Italian aerial lift manufacturer CMC has appointed Tracked Spider Sales as its new distributor for the UK and Ireland.

Based in Witham, Essex, Tracked Spider Sales is run by directors John Dobson and Simon Skidmore, who had previously worked for former CMC dealer Spiderlift in both sales and engineering roles.

The company has recently taken delivery of the first 23 metre CMC S23 in the UK, following its launch last year. The company says it plans to do a UK tour to present the new machine to UK buyers.

Dobson said: “We visited Bauma this year just to see what machines are being offered and noticed a lot of interest being shown in the CMC stand. We were impressed by the quality of the equipment on show and all the machines in the range that can be offered to all markets and sectors. We spoke with Spiderlift and expressed our interest in becoming a dealer for CMC and with their blessing set up Tracked Spider Sales.”

“We are very excited to take on the CMC dealership for the UK as CMC have not been represented in the UK for a couple of years now, although they have a strong following in the rental and end user markets. CMC have in the past manufactured a reliable and robust product which still resides on many national hire fleets today.”
