Point of Rental updates Expert and Elite
Point of Rental Software has updated its Rental Expert and Elite software to ‘version 2019’.
The company says that every two to three weeks, user suggested improvements and new features will be implemented and made available to all users of the software. Version 2019 contains user submitted enhancements including continuation billing templates, so users can customise different billing scenarios and create Parts Items, which allow for serialised, fractional and labour Parts Items. Damage waiver percentages can also now be set by customer, and on work orders or repair contracts, users receive notifications if their equipment is still under warranty. There are also new multi-currency and multi-language features.
The new EquipmentWatch integration allows users to update their item specs with data provided by EquipmentWatch, based on the item’s manufacturer and model number. The company says it will make for quick and easy research when customers need to know details of available equipment, such as size and power. Expert and Elite users can also see all of the newly implemented features in the NetHelp section of their software.
Director of product development David Jensen said: “We are able to implement features so much more quickly now. By switching to sprint cycles, Point of Rental users will always have access to the newest features and best possible rental software experience.”
