First Euro Grove GRT655L
The first 51 tonne Grove GRT655L and GRT655 Rough Terrain cranes built at the group’s Italian production facility in Niella Tanaro have come off the line. The only difference between the two models, are their booms - a four-section 34.8 metre on the GRT655 and five section 43 metre on the GRT655L, both of them full power.

The first Grove GRT655L to be built in Europe
The units are the latest in the company’s move to produce a wider range of its Rough Terrain cranes in Europe and follow the introduction of the European built 80 tonne GRT880 and 100 tonne GRT8100 Rough Terrains last year, the first big Grove RTs to be built outside of the Shady Grove, Pennsylvania plant.
The Niella Tanaro plant has manufactured more than a thousand Rough Terrain and small All Terrain cranes since production began in 2005, including the RT530E-2, RT540E and RT550E.
