Unic adds to Polish distribution

Unic Cranes Europe has officially appointed the recently established sales and rental company Podniose as a dealer for its spider cranes in central Poland, covering a territory that runs from north to south, and includes the provinces of Warmian-Masurian, Masovian, Lodz, Swietokrzyskie, Lesser Poland, Subcarpathia and Silesia. Which include the key cities of Warsaw, Lodz, Krakow and Katowice.

Podniose is based on the south side of Radom, around 100lm due south of Warsaw, and has been working with Unic since the business was established by owner Marcin Drabczyk last May. In addition to selling and supporting the Unic spier crane range, the company also stocks glass handing equipment such as Vacuum lifters.

Marcin Drabczyk said: “We are delighted to have signed an official distribution contract with Unic Cranes Europe. I first became aware of Unic spider cranes during a business visit to the UK where I saw on in full working operation in Birmingham. I knew almost immediately that there was a market for these compact cranes here in Poland and purchased a Unic URW-295. We have now expanded our fleet to eight units, and we look forward to working with the Unic cranes team to meet the growing demand for these innovative machines across our dedicated territories in Poland.”

Unic’s European sales manager John Scholtens added: “Partnering with Podniose is a step in the right direction for the Unic brand. We are very much looking forward to continuing our work with them and taking our relationship from strength to strength”.
